Free Immigration and Visa Service for ASU members

The ASU, Unions NSW and the Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC) have partnered to deliver expert immigration and citizenship advice for members through Visa Assist.  

IARC lawyers are registered migration agents and specialists in migration law. They can assist ASU members and their loved ones with a wide range of immigration and visa issues - including student, sponsorship and other work-related visas. 

  • Free – no cost for ASU members  
  • Confidential – your privacy is protected  
  • Accessible – advice is available over the phone in person
  • Inclusive – interpreter services available if needed
