Enterprise Bargaining for Menzies Aviation (Sydney & Melbourne) Agreement 2025
It’s time to make your voice heard and help shape the future of your workplace by filling out the ASU bargaining survey.
Over the years, ASU members like you have stood together to win industry-leading conditions and protections in your Enterprise Agreement. Your Enterprise Agreement is a legally binding document outlining your working conditions and entitlements that is re-negotiated every three years. Your ASU bargaining team negotiates on your behalf to ensure your rights are protected and your voice is heard.
During the last negotiations, together, we achieved:
- Roster stability at -14 days: Menzies Aviation is
no longer able to alter your days on and off, providing you with a more
predictable and consistent schedule.
- Shift stability at -7 days: Menzies Aviation is no
longer able to change your shift times by more than 30 minutes without your
agreement, ensuring more flexibility and work-life balance.
- Expanded Primary Caregiver Definition: The definition
of primary caregiver will be broadened to accommodate a wider array of
circumstances when children join your family.
- Support for domestic violence victim-survivors: Enhanced
workplace protections and leave entitlements.
Of course, this is on top of pay rises, penalty rates, OT
rates fought for and won by union members! These victories were only possible
because members stood united. Together, we made Menzies listen!
Why Your Input is Vital
As we prepare for Enterprise Bargaining negotiations, we
need your input to build on these wins and tackle the issues that matter most
to you. When you complete the survey, you:
- Influence the claims we take to Menzies.
- Help strengthen our push for better pay, conditions, and
rights.
- Show Menzies we are united and ready to fight for what’s
fair.
The stronger our membership, the stronger our campaign. If
your colleagues haven’t joined the ASU yet, encourage them to sign up and have
