Gaza Emergency Appeal

Last month we issued a statement calling for a ceasefire.
 
 As the weeks have passed, and the death toll has increased, we have continued to watch the news in horror.

Today, on behalf of ASU members, we have made a donation to APHEDA's Gaza Emergency Appeal.

With your support, Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA's partner organisation MA'AN Development Center will work with local organisations to provide access to water, food, medical supplies and shelter; psychosocial support for families and individuals; and dignity and hygiene kits for displaced people.

The Australian Services Union is committed to peace and international solidarity.

We acknowledge the work of ASU members in aid organisations such as Amnesty International, UNHCR, APHEDA and ActionAid.

APAN was established in 2011 and is made up of many thousands of Australians who are concerned about Israel’s continuing human rights abuses against Palestinians, and the continuing effects of dispossession and displacement.
