The march will commence at Town Hall from 11am on Saturday 9th March - look for the ASU flags!

Join Hunter Women on our International Women's Day 2024 Newcastle March!

We'll start gathering at Gregson Park from 10 am, ready to march at 10.30 am through Hamilton. Afterwards we'll hear from our fantastic (TBA) feminist activist speakers!

There will be a coffee van in the park.

Big Steps Walk Off: Canberra Rally

Where: Lawns of Australian Parliament House
When: Friday 8th March 1:30pm-3:00pm
Who: All invited to stand in solidarity 
  
This International Women’s Day on Friday the 8th of March, Early Childhood Educators across the country will be shutting down the sector to show that Australia stops when they stop. 
 
Early Childhood Education and Care Centres in the ACT will be forced to close their doors as educators stop work.
Educators told the Government that if they didn’t get an answer on wages, one day soon they would be forced to close their Centre's doors.
