Premier confirms legislation to Save Sydney Water!

Today, in front of ASU members working at Malabar,
the Premier confirmed that on Wednesday he will be introducing legislation to keep Sydney and Hunter Water in public hands, by protecting them in the constitution.
This will protect thousands of essential workers providing job security for members, ensuring that you can continue to maintain world-class water, wastewater and stormwater services without the fear of losing their jobs.
Congratulations to all ASU members who have campaigned for this over many years.
This news is a strong message to everyone, showing that job security matters, affordable safe water matters, and keeping assets in public hands matters.
